By accessing and using Your AI Headshot ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Your AI Headshot is an online service that uses artificial intelligence to generate professional headshot images from photos you provide. The service is provided on an "as-is" basis.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use this service
  • One account per person; multiple accounts are not permitted

4. Credits and Payments

  • Free Preview: New users receive one free watermarked preview
  • Credits: Purchase credits to generate clean, professional headshots
  • Pricing: Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page
  • Payments: Processed securely through Stripe
  • Refunds: No refunds after successful photo generation
  • Credit Expiry: Credits expire 12 months after purchase

5. Acceptable Use

You MAY:

  • Upload photos of yourself or others with their consent
  • Use generated headshots for professional purposes
  • Download and use your generated images

You MAY NOT:

  • Upload photos of minors under 16
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Upload photos without proper consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse our AI system
  • Use the service for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
  • Share account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Photos: You retain ownership of photos you upload
  • Generated Images: You own the generated headshots
  • Our Service: We retain ownership of our AI technology and service
  • License: By uploading photos, you grant us permission to process them for headshot generation

7. Data and Privacy

  • Your uploaded photos are automatically deleted after 30 days
  • We do not use your photos to train our AI models

  • You can delete your account and data at any time

8. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
  • Generation times are typically under 60 seconds but may vary

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We do not guarantee specific results or quality levels
  • You use the service at your own risk

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Extended inactivity (after notice)
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard.

These terms are governed by Finnish law and EU regulations. Any disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts. EU consumers retain their statutory rights.
